Charging Rokid RV101: Choose the Right Cable and Case

A spare charging accessory is useful only if it completes your setup. For Rokid Glasses RV101, check the glasses connection, the USB-C connection and the power source separately. If you prefer a charging case, match the case to the display model before ordering.

Check the whole connection, not just the magnetic end

Rokid’s official cable guide identifies a three-pin magnetic connection at the end of the right temple arm and a USB-C power input. Use the current instructions supplied with your glasses when connecting the accessory.

The replacement magnetic cable listed by Relia has a USB-C female port. Its listing includes one magnetic charging cable; a standard USB-C cable and a suitable USB power adapter are separate. Check which parts you already own before adding a spare to your kit.

For a desk setup, write the connection out in order: power source, standard USB-C cable, Rokid magnetic accessory, glasses. This makes an easy-to-miss gap visible. Finding a compatible magnetic end in a drawer does not confirm that the rest of the setup is ready.

Choose a case by model name

Relia lists separate charging cases for RV101 display glasses and RV203 non-display Style glasses. The cable’s compatibility with both models does not make their cases interchangeable. Check the model on the glasses or original packaging against the case listing.

Build one routine you can repeat

Choose where you will normally prepare the glasses, then keep the required parts together. If your charging case travels with you while the cable stays at home, decide where each belongs after use. A consistent place is more useful than buying an accessory you cannot find when you leave.

1. Before connecting: confirm the model and accessory. Follow the current manual’s connector, care and power-supply instructions.
2. After connecting: check the charging status using the indication described for your exact model. Do not assume the connection is working solely because the accessory is attached.
3. Before leaving: check the charge you have available and pack the compatible equipment needed for your planned day.

Plan around the features you use and the charge you observe in your own routine. Review that routine after a typical day before deciding which spare accessory would be useful.

If charging does not start, record the setup

Write down the model, which accessory you used, the USB-C cable and power source, and the indicator behaviour you observed. Distinguish a direct cable attempt from a charging-case attempt. That description helps support understand which connection you are asking about.
